This place is great. I took Licorice the kitten to get neutered and it cost me a fortune. This is a place of love for animals because you can see the way they interact with all pets and people. Thank you very much.
If you're ever looking to adopt a new furry friend I would definitely recommend this society the individuals working there were extremely pleasant and the two new furry friends we have for our home are just wonderful. Especially Paulette de Silva she was such an angel. I couldn't have asked for better.
Everyone here loves animals and that is conveyed as soon as you walk in. I had the pleasure of adopting a dog on my last visit. He managed to slip out the front door the very next day. Not only did Humane Society staff and volunteers reach out to me with tips and ideas to get him to return home, but they came out and physically searched for him. They set up trail cams and live traps and were available to support my family every step of the way. They love what they do and that is evident in all scopes of their work. Our family will be forever grateful. If you're unable to adopt a furry friend, consider donating so this location can continue to support the vulnerable souls that come into their care.
Took my cats there fir neuter and when I asked for a receipt so I could submit it to my insurance, the old lady said we don't give receipts, hiw am I supposed to claim with my insurance without a receipt, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOU CLAIMING THROUGH INSURANCE, I got scammed out of $300, I want my money back and my receipt, for the services I received
Im quite choked at the response i got today... I yesterday feb 4th walked 14KM to the shelter to see and inquire about Arrow, and im going through a bunch of chronic health issues between metabolic, neurological, and physical. which is also having a big emotional impact. I saw arrow yesterday, and instantly fell in love, as did he. as soon as he came around the door, he came right up to me, and kisses and everything! all i had to do was come back the next day with my brothers and grandmothers dog to do a meet and greet. well today i went over with them at 1 pm, and he was literally just at that second adopted... TOTALLY UNDERMINING AND NOT FAIR. I WAS TOLD OH SORRY, FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. I DID ALL THE STEPS REQUIRED TO ADOPT, AND THEY HAD 1 HOUR FROM OPENING TILL I ARRIVED, AND ................... IM AT A LOSS WITH WORDS AND WHAT TO DO. I was really counting on today. but last second got undermined and everything., totaly not fair, if you pass for elegabilty for adoption, and awaiting a meet and greet, a hold or deposit should be allowed, like not a great way to practice business, and i will be calling the MP about this, along with local tv, as this is not right to play with people like this.
Great place. We went looking for a little dog. The staff were amazing. All very helpful and caring. Told us everything we needed to know and answered our questions. Came home with a Mother and a baby.
They were quite busy when we arrived but, the staff were amazing. You can't go from big cats to kittens to protect the kittens, they ask upon arrival which you are interested in. Very knowledgeable and caring staff. We left with Goose. She's beautiful and we cannot wait till she feels comfortable here. Thank you for all you do.
